Viewing Prints and Ordering

It is strongly recommended that prints be viewed on the largest screen possible, such as a PC, to see the resolution and detail before ordering.

Cropping

Most of the photos are taken with a wider lens than typical frame sizing and will be cropped. The default crop is the center portion of the photo, but in some cases a better crop might suit the photo. You have the option of hitting “edit crop” to adjust the cropping. Please review the crop before placing your order as this cannot be changed once submitted.

Sizing Tips

When choosing your print size, you can save money on your finished framed art if you select sizes readily available in popular matted frame sizes. While many of the photos are wide angle, they will require custom matting and framing. For the best finished product, art prints should be matted.

Watermarks

Watermarks are for copyright protection only and will not appear on finished prints.

Photo Paper Options

Photos are printed on your choice of the following options:

TypeDescription
Lustre PaperA semi-gloss paper with vibrant colors, sharp details, and excellent skin tones. Surface appears and feels smooth with soft texture that helps reduce fingerprint marks.
Deep Matte Paper True non-reflective matte paper great for skin tones, soft images, and black & whites. Ultra-smooth and soft to the touch with slightly subdued colors.
Metallic PaperA metallic base paper with a hint of silver that adds shimmer and results in vibrant colors with a highly reflective, ultra-smooth, glossy finish.
Glossy PaperOffers the most vibrant colors with an ultra-smooth and highly reflective glossy finish

Canvas Wraps

Please be aware that when printing a Canvas, the edges of the photo (between 1 to 3 inches) will wrap around the side of the product.

Mounting Options

Photo prints can be mounted on a variety of substrates, listed below. Mounting gives your prints a sturdy backing, making them easy to frame or display. This isn’t always required, as many frames will have reinforced backings, but is an option that is offered if desired.

Matboard

A heavyweight, dry mount board at an economical price. Over time, some warping may occur due to its fiber-based nature. For this reason, we do not offer sizes larger than 16×20″.

Styrene

Styrene is the most popular mounting substrate, available in 3mm white and black. Made from plastic, it is not susceptible to warping.
